Correlation Analysis

The Correlation Analysis Table menu option allows the user to find the correlation between a single column and any number of other columns in a table. The user will first be asked to choose the table for which to run the Correlation Analysis:

The user is then presented with the " Correlation Analysis" window:

The columns on which to perform the analysis are listed and can be highlighted as desired. The Rows on which to perform the analysis can also be selected (all, visible, selected, or a pre-generated List).

Options

• The column to "Correlate with" must be selected from the available dropdown list
• The "Correlation method" can be selected (available correlation types include Pearson, Spearman, and Kendall (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Correlation).
• An Output name for the resulting table can be entered in the "Output data name" field.
