Split

The Split OmicData menu item allows the user to take any data type, and split the dataset into new datasets using both the annotation table and design tables as columns to split by. From the "Select Data" window, the user must choose which dataset upon which to run the split command:

The user is then presented with the "Split Data" window. The user can choose to either split by observations (using design table columns) or split by variables (using annotation columns):

The user can check all to generate all the new datasets possible from the split, check none, or individually check the different splits for a customized list of new datasets.
