Change Row Properties

Overview

The Row Properties Table menu item allows the users to set the properties of each row in an individual Table object. It can be accessed by going to: Table | Rows | Row Properties.

Input Data Requirements

This command works on “Table” objects, including Design Tables and Annotation tables. The user will first be asked to choose the table on which to edit row properties:


Step 1: Select source table

The user will first be asked to choose the table on which to change row properties.

Step 2: Select List

Once the table is selected the Row Properties window will appear:

On the left side of the window, the user can select the row(s) to edit the properties. The right side of the screen includes the properties that can be set. These are discussed below.

Appearance

  • Alignment: Opens a dropdown box so the user can set the alignment of the row(s) within the table. The options include "NotSet", "TopLeft", "TopCenter", "TopRight", "MiddleLeft", "MiddleCenter", "MiddleRight", "BottomLeft", "BottomCenter", "BottomRight".
  • Background Color: Opens a window to allow the user to select the background color for the row or rows in the table.
  • Bold: True/False setting that sets a Bold attribute if set to true for the row or rows in the table.
  • Foreground Color: Opens a window to allow the user to sets the foreground color for the row or rows in the table (only applies to views where foreground color is available).
  • Italic: True/False setting that sets an Italic attribute if set to true for the row or rows in the table.
  • Underline: True/False setting that sets an underline attribute if set to true for the row or rows in the table.

General

  • Name: Box to set the name for a row or rows in table.
  • Selected: True/False setting that allows the user to select whether a particular row or rows are selected by Array Studio for that Table. The first step is to select the Data source containing the desired identifiers:
