Overview
Array Server includes a Bucket Analysis function that allows the user to choose a list of genes, which checks lists of gene "buckets" for over-representation against a “bucket” of genes. Clicking the Server Menu | Manage Buckets button will open the Manage Buckets window, allowing you to add or remove gene buckets.
Input Data Requirements
To add a new list of gene buckets, a bucket .xml file or an already compiled Array Suite .buckets file is required.
GSEA buckets (.xml) file can be downloaded from http://software.broadinstitute.org/gsea/downloads.jsp.
Manage Buckets
- Add: Add buckets by loading .xml file or .buckets file.
- Remove: Select a list of gene buckets that has already been added, and remove it from future analyses.
Output
A bucket will be added or removed from the list of available lists in Bucket Analysis, depending on which option you chose.
